We are seeking a VSD (Very Special Dietitian) who is filled with a desire and passion to work with our beautiful families. You are ready to take your skills to the next level in supporting families with complex disability and neurodivergence.

Our ‘must haves’

We are looking for a Dietitian who:

  • Has Tertiary qualifications in Nutrition and Dietetics recognised by Dietitians Australia.
  • Is a Member of Dietitians Australia and can show maintenance of current registration as an Accredited Practicing Dietitian as recognised by Dietitian’s Australia.
  • Has 2-4 years’ clinical experience in Paediatric and Family Dietetics.
  • Has a passion for working with children and families with disabilities, complex needs and often challenging circumstances.
  • Considers themselves a lifelong learner with a passion for ongoing professional development in: Responsive Feeding approaches, Weight Neutral Care, Neurodiversity Affirming Care, Trauma Informed Care and the Biopsychosocial Model of Disability.
  • Values and actively seeks ongoing personal and professional development to expand your knowledge and expertise.
  • Is a “people person” who loves supporting parents and children to develop a more harmonious relationship with food.
  • Will always treat our families with empathy, respect and uphold confidentiality to the highest standard.
  • Is a team player who values both giving and receiving as part of a close-knit team.
  • Is efficient with all forms of verbal and written communication, especially maintaining accurate and concise client records and email communication with families and other health colleagues.
  • Has a desire to work autonomously whilst remaining team focused.
  • Is a forward-looking thinker who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.
  • You hold a current Blue Card (Working With Children Check) and Yellow Card (Disability Worker Screening Check) and are willing to provide a National Police Check.

About the Position

Your Key Responsibilities as Dietitian with the Kids Dig Food team will include, but is not limited to:

  • Providing high quality, paediatric specialist Dietetic services to the client families of Kids Dig Food®.
  • A strong commitment to continued development of your skill and experience in paediatric & family dietetics, Responsive Feeding approaches, Weight Neutral Care, Neurodiversity Affirming Care, Trauma Informed Care and the Biopsychosocial Model of Disability. You understand that your learning is never complete!
  • Undertake Quality Improvement and Administrative activities to improve the quality and provision of Dietetics services.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of nutrition- based group and online programs.
  • Actively contribute to workplace education through participation in Peer Support, Mentoring and Professional Development opportunities.
  • Actively contribute to the social media presence of Kids Dig Food.

Client Experience Officer (Administration) - APPLY NOW!

  • Do you have awesome social media skills that will help us amplify our impact?

The Client Experience Officer position with Kids Dig Food® supports our Senior Client Experience Officer and our caring team of clinicians from our Carseldine clinic and your home office.

You will join a supportive and friendly team on a casual basis for 10-15 hours (2 days) per week. Additional hours may be required to cover leave.

We are seeking a VSP (very special person) who is positive, caring, quality-focused with exceptional attention to detail and super admin skills to take on this admin role as part of our team.

Our ‘must haves’

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a “people person” who treats our client families with empathy, respect and always upholds confidentiality. You naturally make people feel comfortable & welcome.
  • Has excellent verbal and written communication skills – you interact with others in a caring and friendly manner in person, on the phone, and via email.
  • Has experience in and a passion for Social Media marketing, including creating, writing and scheduling engaging posts and content on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and our monthly newsletter to showcase our amazing team.
  • Has a high attention to detail, love problem solving and creating efficient administrative systems – for example, if you see a problem and can make it better, saving time and creating a positive client experience, you’ll make it happen.
  • Can maintain clear communication with the Practice Director and senior Client Experience Officer and ensure that all updates and roadblocks are being communicated promptly.
  • Previous experience working in a customer service role with a high level of autonomy will be highly regarded.
  • Has a passion for working with clients and families with disability and challenging circumstances.
  • Enjoys building and nurturing relationships with our client families, team members and our partners in the community.
  • Has excellent crisis management skills. You respond to client complaints or negative feedback promptly and positively.
  • Values and actively seeks ongoing personal and professional development to expand your knowledge and expertise in delivering a second-to-none client experience.
  • Has a capacity and desire to work autonomously whilst remaining team focused – you are skilled in managing video meetings e.g. Zoom.
  • Is available for work weekdays within the hours of 9:00am-5:00pm (with consideration of client needs).
  • You hold a current Working With Children Check and are willing to provide a National Police Check.
  • Experience with the use of Cliniko and Tyro Health (Medipass) is an advantage but not a necessity.

About the Position

Your incredibly vital Client Experience Officer role will include, but is not limited to:

  • welcoming clients and families to our service via phone / in person as if they have arrived at your home
  • booking and rescheduling appointments
  • communicating with clients and business associates – this may include answering and making calls to clients and managing email inboxes
  • communicating with and supporting our senior Client Experience Officer and our growing Dietetics team
  • providing a high level of care and compassion to our clients by anticipating their anxieties and answering their questions
  • managing client payments and accounts including invoicing
  • management of our client database
  • accurately recording and communicating messages
  • scanning and saving client documents to Cliniko, our Practice Management Software
  • ensuring all correspondence to and from practitioners is sent promptly
  • safeguarding confidentiality of client information at all times
  • helping to review, develop, update and implement clinic Policies and Procedures daily
  • assisting with and monitoring our social media channels and other marketing strategies
