About Kylie Walton

(she/her)

Accredited Practising Dietitian

Kylie Walton is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Nutritionist who is passionate about supporting kids with feeding challenges. She has additional training in supporting children with eating disorders, including ARFID (Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder). Kylie is dedicated to ongoing learning and development in all areas of Paediatrics and family feeding and has a keen interest in supporting Neurodivergent kids and their families in an affirming way. Kylie currently has capacity to support a limited number of children under 16 years of age with Anorexia Nervosa (AN) and Binge Eating Disorder (BED), having recently completed ANZAED Eating Disorder Credentialling training in 2022.

Kylie understands that food is more than just fuel. Mealtimes can be a source of stress and worry about what children are or are not eating, which can have a negative impact on family life. Whilst there is often an endless stream of advice from well-meaning family, friends and social media, she believes that working together to create a strong plan suitable for the child, family and individual circumstances is the best way to settle these worries. Kylie’s practice is weight and body neutral, with an appreciation of the wonderful diversity of different bodies.

Kylie has experience in managing weight concern, undernutrition, tube feeding and texture modified diets and is committed to providing families with the knowledge and support to make mealtimes enjoyable. If you would like individualized care and support to managing your children’s nutrition and health, focusing on practical solutions that will meet your whole family’s needs, Kylie looks forward to meeting you.

Kylie Walton, Accredited Practising Dietitian with Kids Dig Food

“Wanting your child to eat well is such a fundamental part of parenting for many. When it’s proving challenging, the stress and concern can impact on the whole family’s day to day life. By first understanding and then addressing these concerns, I will work with your family to bring some enjoyment back to eating.”
