Kirsty Doig, Accredited Practising Dietitian with Kids Dig Food

Kirsty Doig is an early career Accredited Practicing Dietitian who graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics and a strong passion for paediatric dietetics from the very beginning.

Kirsty has worked with children and families for the past eight years in various settings. These included childcare, swim instructing, and leadership positions of swim schools. In these positions, Kirsty has gained experience working hands on with neurodiverse children and children with disabilities. Kirsty completed her final placement at Kids Dig Food before graduating and then continued as an Intern.

Kirsty chose to begin her career as a dietitian in the paediatric space as she knows working with families to be rewarding, fulfilling and grounding. She continues to professionally develop in order to support families with simple to complex feeding difficulties.

In her spare time you can find her staying active with swimming, netball, learning to surf (very slowly and only in summer), and loves nothing more than enjoying a meal with those she loves.

“I wish to create a judgement free space where families’ feeding concerns are heard and understood. I aim to walk alongside you and your family as we resolve feeding challenges and restore fulfilling and enjoyable eating and mealtimes.”
